Our spring books hold a handy easily-refillable 4 1/2” x 5 1/2” pad of heavy recycled rag paper. The unique spring hinges allow the cover to snap shut to cover your scribblings but also flip open 360 degrees to provide a solid surface for writing while standing or sitting. They can also be propped up as shown for data entry or to leave a love note out for someone. The paper is held in place by recycled motorcycle inner tubes that also prevent slipping and scratching furniture. The galactic red patina of the copper will never fade – the burnished copper highlights can be left to darken naturally or shined up periodically with spray wax and extra-fine steel wool.
